The incredible Nick Sharratt exhibition Pirates, Pants and Wellyphants coming to Leeds Central Library in September. As the workshop slots are allocated on a first come first served basis please book early to get your preferred date and time as they are starting to book up now.

Pirates, Pants and Wellyphants’ is a brand new, nationally touring Arts Council funded exhibition all about the world renowned children’s author and illustrator, Nick Sharratt. The exhibition is colourful, humorous and interactive and provides a memorable experience with lots to see and do. Resources have been developed for primary aged children and can provide the starting point for further creative work at school, not just in Art and Design but also in English and Maths.

We will be hosting school workshops from 24th September through to the 23rd November (Monday- Friday) with availability for single classes to visit in either a morning (10-11:30am) or afternoon (1:15-2:45pm). These workshops are open to all primary year groups. They offer a fantastic opportunity to visit the exhibition and take part in Librarian led activities with exclusive resources. We can provide space within the building for you to bring a picnic lunch before or after attending the workshop. All sessions will last approximately 1.5hrs and are charged at a flat rate of £50 per class.
